That's A Wrap to Season 1!
Welcome & welcome back to Life & Anth Podcast!
Thanks for joining us today!
Our mission is to break down the barriers between anthropology in academia and the general public so people can better understand how anthrological concepts impact our daily lives and who we are in the greater landscape. Lily is a graduate of Wellesley College and holds a B.A. degree in Anthropology.
In this episode, Life & Anth podcast host, Lily Forrester and Zoomcatchers' Podcast Producer, Kimberly Gunn discuss all things anthropology and wrap up season 1 and what's coming next!
Show Notes:
Everyday life can start to feel a little well routine, but every once in a while, maybe you notice something small that makes you wonder why are things the way they are? Why can you buy CDs at coffee shops? These moments are called ruptures, and they're a gateway to thinking about larger cultural norms that impact our everyday lives.
My name is Lily Forester and I'm the host of the new anthropology podcast series, life and Anth. On our show, we talk about phenomena small and large. Why do some colleges have great relationships with their surrounding towns and others not? How is power demonstrated in a recreational fitness setting? We have so many questions to answer and so much anthropology to learn, and you can join in our music on Apple Podcasts, YouTube, and Spotify.
Additional notes:
This episode discusses issues of abuse. If you are a victin of abuse or are aware of abuse, contact your law enforcement agencies for help.
